T he block itself has a lot of variations, by the colors you use, by the way you choose to make the spikes, the way you design the pattern. Jacqueline worked her magic on this fabulous quilt. The colors are stunning and the tracks of black-and-white stripe is wonderful. While she was working on this quilt, there were numerous variations to design them. One time she had them on her design wall as if the white points were evil eyes. As you can see we thought black fabric would work well with these colors, but it makes this design ‘heavy’.
