Take A Pattern From Your Favourite Garment

This class is perfect for you if you have a favourite garment you’d love to recreate, without unpicking it. You’ll learn how to systematically trace off your garment, ensuring each pattern piece fits together correctly and has the right grainline. A genuinely useful skill that opens up a whole new way of sewing.

You can make your pattern on paper or cardboard, and if time permits you’ll also make a toile to test the fit before cutting into your fabric at home. Toile fabric can be purchased at Tessuti on the day with the teacher’s help. Classes are held in the back of our Surry Hills store in Sydney, in small groups of up to three. Feel free to browse in store before or after your session.
